The LSU Tigers are returning a lot of big pieces for their team for the 2016 season and they hope to compete for a national championship next year as well. One key defensive player just announced he would return for his senior season and the team couldn’t be more excited.
Defensive tackle Christian LaCouture was one of the starters during the 2015 season and one of the reasons why their defense was one of the best in stopping the run this year. He announced on Twitter Friday that he would return to school next season.

With LaCouture returning, the Tigers will have three of their four starting defensive linemen for the 2016 season. Lewis Neal requested a draft grade, but has yet to make his intentions known.
He only played in nine games this season while dealing with an injury, but he still recorded 28 tackles and should be able to translate that into a great season in 2016.
