Kevin Durant is one of the classiest players in the NBA and is always looking to give back to the fans. He knows the importance of giving back to those that are in need and did so once again recently.
The Make-A-Wish foundation is normally known for bringing good stories to light and giving kids battling with life-threatening diseases one of their biggest wishes. Unfortunately this story is about them denying a fan.
Brooke Wolcott is a 17-year old girl battling against Cystic Fibrosis. She was denied by the Make-A-Wish foundation, but Durant heard about her and immediately wanted to do something. He decided to wear a pair of shoes, then sign them following the game and send them to her.

Hearing this type of story restores a bit of faith in the world of sports. There are not enough stories like this, however, and are instead stories of players being involved in bad off-the-court or field activities.
Durant has not changed one bit since becoming one of the best players in the NBA and it is refreshing to see this kind of gesture.
