Clemson CB Mackensie Alexander leaves with hamstring injury

Clemson cornerback Mackensie Alexander aggravated his hamstring injury in tonight’s national championship game and was forced to leave the game, according to Aaron Brenner of The Post & Courier.

Alexander is Clemson’s best defensive back and was expected to slow down Alabama star freshman wideout Calvin Ridley. Should he be done for the game, Clemson’s pass-rush needs to be all the more dominant.

The score is tied 14-14 late in the second quarter, so stay tuned to Campus Sports for more highlights and updates!
