Little did the Alabama Crimson Tide know that the National Championship game would turn into the O.J. Howard show. Howard had not caught a touchdown all season long coming into tonight’s game, but he has caught two huge touchdowns and has given his team the lead on both plays.
Howard’s most recent touchdown came early on in the fourth quarter after a gutsy onside kick by the Crimson Tide.
Blown coverage has been a major problem for the Clemson Tigers all night long. Without blowing coverage, the Tigers would likely be handling this game and would not be down by a touchdown.
Howard has to be given credit, however, and the Crimson Tide certainly have to be happy with his performance.
Check out his latest touchdown that gave the Crimson Tide a 31-24 lead in the fourth quarter.
