Temple has promoted quarterbacks coach Glenn Thomas to offensive coordinator, according to Marc Narducci of Philly.com.
Thomas replaces Marcus Satterfield, who left the Owls to become the head coach at Tennessee Tech. It’s a fantastic hire on Temple’s end, as quarterback P.J. Walker had a career season in 2015 thanks to Thomas and Temple averaged about 30 points per game, up from 23 in 2014.
Thomas also has NFL experience, having spent seven years with the Atlanta Falcons, including three as quarterbacks coach.
Given how Temple made the AAC Championship Game in 2015, ultimately losing to Houston, fans should look forward to Thomas continuing to help take the team forward in 2016.
