The University of Alabama announced today that the parade honoring the football team’s latest national championship will take place on January 23 at 10 a.m., according to a report from AL.com.
Per the report, the parade route will start near Denny Chimes tower on campus and conclude at the Walk of Champions near Bryant-Denny Stadium. Naturally, a big crowd of Tide fans are expected to show up and shout their support.
Alabama shook off an early season loss to Ole Miss and absolutely dominated in 2015, winning the SEC once again and making the College Football Playoff as the No. 2 seed. The team destroyed Michigan State in the Cotton Bowl on New Year’s Eve before defeating Clemson in the national championship game earlier this week.
The parade is a great cap to an even greater season and though the Crimson Tide have their fair share of critics, there’s no denying that they were the best team in the country this past season.
