5-star guard Kobi Simmons commits to Arizona

Arizona has its point guard for 2016, getting five-star prospect Kobi Simmons to commit to the Wildcats even though he never visited Tucson.

Simmons announced his commitment live on ESPN at the Hoophall Classic in Massachusetts.

At 6-foot-5, Simmons is ranked no. 18 in the country by ESPN, chose Arizona over Ohio State and Kentucky. A product of St. Francis in Georgia, he recently became the school’s all-time leading scorer.

Look for Simmons to become an immediate impact player for the Wildcats once he arrives on Campus!
