High school basketball’s ultimate All-Star Game is set as the rosters for the 2016 McDonald’s All-American Game have been announced.

Notable absences from this year’s rosters are, most obviously, No. 1 2016 recruit and Duke commit Harry Giles, who is recovering from a torn ACL, and wing Dennis Smith, who enrolled early at N.C. State. Also missing are five-star prospects in Thon Maker and Wenyen Gabriel, both of whom are ineligible due to being fifth-year high school players.

Either way, though top players in Syracuse commit Tyus Battle and Michigan State’s Cassius Winston were clearly snubbed in favor of odd entries like Josh Jackson and Lonzo Ball, there’s still enough immense talent on both rosters that a great game should be had.
