Child in Iraq wears Messi jersey made of plastic bag, star wants to help him

There’s no doubting that soccer fans are some of the most passionate in the world. When they root for a certain team or player, they do it to the fullest, especially children who idolize certain players.

Earlier this week, an image of an Iraqi child wearing a Lionel Messi jersey went viral.

It went viral because the jersey was made from a plastic bag.

This is certainly a sad, but beautiful image. The image has been shared thousands of times and Messi’s team is hoping to find the child to help him out in some way.
