Class of 2016 four-star wide receiver Tre Nixon has committed to Ole Miss, according to a statement posted to his Twitter.

Nixon, who currently attends Florida’s Viera High School, picked Ole Miss out of a top ten that also included Texas A&M, Oregon, Penn State, Auburn, Alabama, Florida, Duke, Georgia and Tennessee. Given how the Rebels are about to lose top receiver Laquon Treadwell to the upcoming NFL Draft, it wouldn’t be shocking to see Nixon become featured in the offense immediately.
Once he and Chad Kelly start practicing together and establish an on and off-field rapport, don’t be at all shocked if Ole Miss emerges as a top SEC contender in 2016.
