The LSU Tigers fan base is apparently the kindest to the environment.
In a recent report from The Times-Picayune, it was revealed that the Tigers faithful are the most environmentally friendly thanks to a whopping 86,400 pounds of garbage that was recylced over the fall.
LSU was participating in the 2015 GameDay Recycling Challenge.
The Tigers won the challenge, with Clemson coming nearly ten tons behind in second place.
In total, the challenge led to 2.5 million pounds of garbage being recycled by the participating schools. It’s safe to say that the challenge was an overwhelming success.
