Before the dab, there was the whip/nae nae dance taking the sports world by storm. Now, you will likely see your favorite players run “off on da plug twice” after a big play.
The celebration — which is simply just running in place — started gaining steam during college football bowl season and now the basketball teams are starting to get in on the fun.
Following their big win over Duke on Monday night, the Miami Hurricanes decided to enjoy their locker room celebration with the dance.
As you would expect, it was awesome.

The celebration also caught the eye of artist Plies, who started the trend in his song “Ritz Carlton.”

It looks like Plies approves.
Who will run off on da plug twice next? It probably won’t be too long before we find out.
