Former Ohio State quarterback-turned-wide receiver Braxton Miller is turning a lot of heads at the Senior Bowl down in Mobile, Alabama this week and he has drawn particularly strong praise from Texas A&M wide receiver Christian Kirk.
Kirk waxed poetic about Miller’s abilities in practice this week on Twitter.
@BraxtonMiller5 has the best routes I've seen from the senior bowl hands down. Technique and breaks are on point.. #Respect
— Christian Kirk (@ckirk) January 28, 2016
Miller’s quickness and athleticism have always made him seem like a natural fit at wide receiver, but let’s not forget that he had a very modest 2015 season in catching just 26 passes for 341 yards and three touchdowns. Just the same, for a top wide receiver in Kirk to give him that kind of praise when Miller only had a year to transition to the position is pretty significant.
In fact, it’s significant enough that Miller’s name is being tossed around as a possible second-round pick.
