Michigan football has added a silent commit who will announce his decision to play for the Wolverines on Wednesday’s National Signing Day, according to a tweet from Brandon Justice of SB Nation’s Maize ‘n’ Brew.
I was informed today, by the recruit, that he will silent commit to #Michigan 'sometime tomorrow', announce NSD. A surprising pickup for UM.

In order for a recruit to want to keep his commitment to a program silent until he himself announces it, it must be a pretty big name in this case. Michigan has become a polarizing program in recent weeks amid rumors that coach Jim Harbaugh has pulled scholarship offers to recruits he didn’t feel fit the system, but this one recruit in particular doesn’t seem to be bothered by that.
