The LSU Tigers gave the top-ranked Oklahoma Sooners all they could have asked for on Saturday as they were leading for majority of the game before a last-second three-point shot did them in. The team was up 44-36 at the half, but early on in the game, it sounded like the LSU fans weren’t trying to get a rise out of star Oklahoma guard Buddy Hield.
He was shooting free throws and the student section seemed to direct a NSFW chant at Hield in order to distract him. The fans can clearly be heard shouting “F— you, Buddy.”

Hield is easily one of the best players in the country this year, but the Tigers also have a talented player in their own right in Ben Simmons. Despite that, it still isn’t a good look for the Tiger fans to be shouting these immature things at Hield.
I guess the frontrunner for the player of the year award had the last laugh. Hield scored 32 points in the game and the Sooners won, 77-75.
