LSU lands three-star QB commit

|

The LSU Tigers have a surefire top-three recruiting class for the 2016 season, but their class would look a whole lot more complete with a quarterback in the mix. Since four-star quarterback Feliepe Franks flipped to Florida, the Tigers hadn’t picked up a commit from that position.

They did just that on Sunday when in-state three-star quarterback Lindsey Scott Jr. announced his commitment to LSU. This comes just two weeks after Scott de-committed from Syracuse as he was poised to join the Orange in 2016.

Scott is a dual-threat quarterback from Zachary, Louisiana and the number 25 player at the position in the country. He isn’t a guy that will likely come in to lead the offense immediately, but he is surely a talented player that the Tigers can greatly benefit from.
