ESPN holding college hoops and NBA crossover tomorrow night

ESPN has announced that its NBA and college basketball broadcasting teams will cross over and call four games together tomorrow night.

The action will start at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2, when Dan Shulman and Dick Vitale are joined by Jeff Van Gundy for an ACC matchup between No. 17 Miami and Notre Dame in Coral Gables. At 9 p.m., Jon Barry will join Brent Musburger and Fran Fraschilla when No. 7 Kansas takes on Kansas State in Lawrence.

On the NBA side, broadcast on ESPN, Mike Breen and Doug Collins will be joined by Jay Bilas for when the Golden State Warriors take on the Washington Wizards. For the late game between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Los Angeles Clippers, Dave Pasch and Jay Williams will be joined by Mark Jackson. Williams will also be in the production studio for the earlier games along with Rece Davis, Doris Burke and Jalen Rose.

Needless to say, in this marriage of college ball and the pros, the takes that the various analysts will have out of their respective comfort zones should provide some interesting commentary for the fans.
