National Signing Day for the recruiting class of 2016 is tomorrow and ESPN will be getting an early start to the festivities. It will actually be its earliest start ever as it was announced the first commitment and signing will happen on the midnight edition of SportsCenter.
ESPN announced that the number 13-ranked safety in the country, Brandon Burton, will join Scott Van Pelt early Wednesday morning to make his commitment for the 2016 season. This will mark the earliest ESPN has ever covered a recruit’s official commitment.
The four-star safety is one of the highest-recruited players in the state of California and he will decided between USC, UCLA, Arizona, Notre Dame, and Florida State.
