Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III went back to his alma mater, Baylor University today to visit coach Art Briles and Briles’ son Kendall, an assistant coach with the Bears.
Of course, a picture of the reunion was posted to Coach Briles’ Twitter.
Griffin is one of the best players in Baylor history, having thrown for 10,366 yards and 78 touchdowns while rushing for 2,254 yards and 33 scores in four seasons in Waco while also winning a Heisman trophy. His career in Washington has flamed out since tearing knee ligaments his rookie season but now that the Dallas Cowboys could look to bring him aboard as a backup, could his visit to Baylor have something of a deeper meaning?
