LSU OC Cam Cameron denies that he’s leaving the program

LSU offensive coordinator Cam Cameron has vehemently denied that he is leaving the program, according to The Baton Rouge Advocate as well as other sources.

Words straight from @lsufball OC Coach Cameron on report of him leaving LSU, "I'm not going anywhere. No truth to it whatsoever." #LSU

Cameron, a longtime NFL assistant and former Miami Dolphins head coach, has been at LSU since 2013 and has come under fire recently for the Tigers’ offensive woes. Despite having a star running back in Leonard Fournette, LSU’s quarterback play the past couple of seasons has been subpar, ranking 108th in passing offense in 2015 and 109th the year before.

But it looks like that with new recruits coming in, Cameron is staying right where he is and will once again be calling the plays in Death Valley in 2016.

Still, there’s no doubt that the upcoming season could be make or break for Cameron, not to mention the rest of the coaching staff.
