Michigan lands No. 1 K Quinn Nordin

Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh’s sleepover technique appears to work, as No. 1 kicker Quinn Nordin has flipped his commitment from Penn State to Michigan. Nordin’s announcement was posted to Twitter by Mitch Fick of FOX 17.

Nordin, who will graduate from Rockford High School in the Grand Rapids area in a few months, found his name in the recruiting headlines earlier this month when it was learned that Harbaugh would be sleeping over at his home while on the recruiting trail. It appears to have worked on Harbaugh’s end, since Nordin had been verbally committed to Penn State for a while.

It will certainly be interesting to see how the rest of Harbaugh’s sleepovers worked out, so stay tuned to Campus Sports for further updates on National Signing Day!
