Five-star linebacker Ben Davis was one of the most sought-after players in the country and his decision was one of the most anticipated in the country. He became the latest top ten recruit to make his decision on National Signing Day when he signed with the Alabama Crimson Tide, following his father’s footsteps.

This isn’t too much of a surprise as he has been favored to select the Crimson Tide for some time now. However, some believed that he may be considering the Tide’s arch rival, Auburn, with whom he had an official visit last week.
The Crimson Tide have a top-five recruiting class, but picking up a big defensive player like Davis will certainly help them move up the rankings.
