The Ohio State Buckeyes saw a lot of players declare for the 2016 NFL Draft and, as a result, will lead the way in having 14 players invited to the upcoming NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, according to a tweet from Paul Myerberg of USA Today.
Ohio State with a ridiculous 14 players invited to the NFL combine. One more than the entire AAC. https://t.co/k7v9RCPjsh

That’s a testament to just how deep and talented the Buckeyes are, not to mention how phenomenal a coach and recruiter Urban Meyer is. The invited Ohio State players are as follows:
- CB Eli Apple
- S Vonn Bell
- DE Joey Bosa
- OL Taylor Decker
- RB Ezekiel Elliott
- QB Cardale Jones
- LB Darron Lee
- HB Jalin Marshall
- HB Braxton Miller
- LB Joshua Perry
- S Tyvis Powell
- WR Michael Thomas
- TE Nick Vannett
- DL Adolphus Washington
Trailing Ohio State in terms of number of players invited are Notre Dame, who had 10 invited to the combine, Alabama and UCLA with nine, and Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Georgia and Oklahoma with eight.
It’s clear that not all of these players are going to be first-round picks, but a good number will be names to watch at the combine. Bosa is all but certain to be a Top 5 pick this Saturday. Decker will definitely go in the first round, as will Elliott in all likelihood. Miller could wind up setting a new record for fastest 40-yard-dash time and Jones could be the biggest enigma of all the combine participants.
Needless to say, with this list of combine attendees alone, Ohio State could have plenty to brag about come Draft Day.
