LSU WR Trey Quinn to transfer from program

LSU wide receiver Trey Quinn took to Twitter today to announce that he would be transferring out of the program.

A former four-star recruit from Lake Charles, Quinn was only able to see limited action in his two years with the Tigers and started nine games in two seasons, posting only 22 catches for 276 yards and zero touchdowns. Quinn has made no indication as to where he may transfer, but he will have to sit out a season due to NCAA rules. During his recruitment, he also had offers from a number of schools including Clemson, Auburn, Notre Dame and Texas A&M among others besides LSU.

Though on the skinny side at 6-foot-1, 197 pounds, Quinn should attract plenty of suitors as he decides on his next destination. Be sure to stay tuned to Campus Sports for any further updates on Quinn’s transfer process!
