Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh is hosting a coaches clinic at the university next month and has added a key name to the speakers’ list. That name belongs to Baylor coach Art Briles, with the announcement coming via Harbaugh’s Twitter.

It’s an excellent addition on Harbaugh’s part, as Briles has proven to be one of the greatest offensive minds in college football in his time at Baylor. He has been the Bears’ head coach since 2008 and has gone 65-37 (39-30 Big 12) during his tenure, turning Baylor into a regular Big 12 contender over the past three years.
Briles also coached at Houston and owns a career coaching record of 99-65.
He’s certainly an interesting addition to the clinic, especially since he and Harbaugh don’t coach in the same conference, but there is clearly a great amount of respect that exists between both men and that is why Briles has agreed to appear.
