Video: Duke releases Top 5 plays from last night’s upset of UNC

Duke’s men’s basketball team has a lot to be happy about today after knocking off No. 5 North Carolina in Chapel Hill last night, 74-73, so much that a video was made of the game’s top five plays.

It was a huge win for Duke, as the Blue Devils were playing incredibly short-handed and also lost guard Matt Jones to injury during the game. It also helped that Tar Heels coach Roy Williams practically gave the game away and opted to trust his defense and let Duke run the clock out rather than call timeout so he could draw up a scheme that would hopefully generate a stop.

But Williams did what he did, and Durham is now Celebration City for the foreseeable future. Duke can look forward to a nice bump in the rankings following the win as it now prepares for a weekend matchup with Louisville at the KFC Yum! Center, while North Carolina hosts Miami on Saturday.
