Video: Notre Dame players going nuts in conditioning drills

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish were doing a good job of keeping themselves in the College Football Playoff picture in 2015 before their luck ran out and they had to settle for losing to Ohio State in the Fiesta Bowl, and it’s clear that coach Brian Kelly and his players are looking towards the 2016 season with a chip on their shoulder.

In a video posted to the football program’s official Twitter, Notre Dame’s players can be seen doing some pretty intense workouts during conditioning drills today.

Strength is going to be key for Notre Dame next season, as key defensive players Jaylon Smith and KeiVarae Russell are both NFL bound, as is star wide receiver Will Fuller. That trio is going to be hard to replace, so having everyone as strong and as fast as they can possibly be will be important.

With the kind of work ethic seen in the video above, it’s going to be hard to count out Notre Dame.
