St. Bonaventure beats No. 15 Dayton, adding to their tourney resume

Gathering themselves after a surprising loss to La Salle, St. Bonaventure came out strong and beat No. 15 Dayton Saturday. Needless to say, this helps cover up that blemish of a loss, and boosts their case come March.

Behind sophomore Jaylen Adams’ 31 points, the Bonnies edged Dayton at the UD Arena, 79-72. Earlier in the season Dayton beat St. Bonaventure 85-79, a game in which they shot 57% percent and 9-15 shooting from three land.

Dion Wright also had a big contribution for the Bonnies, with 15 points and eight rebounds.

Dayton is still in good shape when it comes to their own NCAA resume. The A10 is strong this year, with St. Joseph’s and VCU also making a strong case for March Madness.
