The Oklahoma Sooners landed a big score at cornerback today when Class of 2017 four-star prospect Trajan Bandy committed to the Sooners, per a post on Bandy’s Twitter.
Bandy, who currently stars at Miami’s Columbus High School, also had offers in hand from a number of colleges including LSU, Alabama, Clemson, South Florida, Michigan, Louisville and others. If not Oklahoma, he was likely headed to Clemson, per 247 Sports.
Bandy isn’t the biggest at just 5-foot-10, 180 pounds but in the Big 12, speed kills in the secondary. Bandy currently runs the 40 in 4.53 seconds and could wind up being an immediate impact player in Norman.
A lot can happen between now and next year’s National Signing Day even though Bandy is committed to the Sooners, so stay tuned to Campus Sports for any further updates on this story!
