It’s THON week at Penn State, otherwise known as one giant Greek Week for charity, specifically raising money to battle childhood cancer, and the Nittany Lions football players have jumped right in in terms of helping out.
This year, as cancer-stricken children tour the campus, the athletic facilities and even meet the players, the football team gave a little extra by providing life-size bowling! Of course, video of the antics was posted to Twitter.

It’s just great to see how much Penn State gives back, especially the football team. The last five years haven’t been easy, as the Jerry Sandusky scandal did a lot to damage the reputations of the university and the football program, and community outreach, especially during THON, is just what the doctor ordered in terms of rebuilding it.
