Former NBA player, Delonte West has been in the headlines for various reasons over the years, including antics involving social media and LeBron James, but recently his shenanigans have been more concerning than amusing.
West was reportedly spotted last week around 10 pm wandering around outside a Jack in the Box restaurant in Houston without any shoes on, according to TMZ. A fan approached him and asked if he was Delonte West, to which he replied, “I used to be, but I’m not about that life anymore.” The fan then took a photo of the former guard, looking out of it and not himself. West was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, though he disputes the diagnosis.
Delonte West played for a handful of NBA teams from 2004-2012, including the Cleveland Cavaliers alongside LeBron James. He played for the Texas Legends of the NBA D-League in 2015 before being waived after a season-ending injury.
