There’s no doubt that Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh is a polarizing figure. People either love him or hate him.
However, if there’s one thing that everyone can agree on, it’s that Harbaugh is generous. Per MLive’s Nick Baumgardner, Harbaugh recently earned $10,000 at an autograph signing last week and donated the entirety of it to the ChadTough Foundation.
The foundation honors Chad Carr, the late grandson of longtime Michigan coach Lloyd Carr. Chad died of pediatric cancer last year at just five years old and the entire Wolverines family rallied behind him before and after his death. He was a beloved child amongst fans, players and the coaching staff and his loss was felt nationally.
His mother Tammi had the following to say about Harbaugh’s donation.
It just goes to show, ladies and gentlemen, that no matter what you may have to say about one man in particular, questioning their character may be a bit much.
