WR Josiah Blandin leaving Fresno State as graduate transfer

Fresno State wide receiver Josiah Blandin will leave the program and graduate transfer to another, according to an announcement from the university.

“I’d like to thank Josiah for being a hard-working member of our football program this past year and for his efforts to graduate from Fresno State,” coach Tim DeRuyter said in a statement. “We wish him nothing but the best in the future.”

A former three-star recruit from Long Beach, Blandin arrived at Fresno State from junior college and posted 22 receptions for 251 yards and five touchdowns in last season, his sole year with the Bulldogs. Fresno State finished 3-9 (2-6 MWC), and now Blandin will look to finish his college career elsewhere.

The good news is that Blandin has size at 6-foot-4, 214 pounds, so there should be a number of receiver-needy programs that will be interested in adding him to the mix.
