It was previously believed that the video showing Oklahoma Sooners running back Joe Mixon striking a woman in the summer of 2014 would be part of the public record, but that has since changed.
On Thursday, the Cleveland County court ruled the video will remain sealed.

When the Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals initially ruled the video would be part of public record and asked for it to be released, there were plenty of people waiting to see how horrific the scene was.
Now, it will remain a mystery, which plays in the favor of both Joe Mixon and the Oklahoma Sooners football program.
