Ohio State defensive end Joey Bosa sat down with the media at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis this morning and discussed his time with the Buckeyes, the good and the bad. Bosa also addressed the criticism Ohio State’s program received during his tenure there, likely in that the Buckeyes had an easy season regarding strength of schedule, and Patrick Maks of ClevelandBrowns.com posted a great quote from Bosa to Twitter.
"Thanks for hating on us, it really helped us in the long run," Joey Bosa said of those who doubted Ohio State during his career.

Bosa joined Ohio State right after the program had come out of a short period of NCAA sanctions handed down during the Jim Tressel area and in his sophomore season, Ohio State just barely made the inaugural College Football Playoff as the No. 4 seed. Thus, people thought that the Buckeyes would be stopped in their tracks by the dangerous defense of No. 2 Alabama in the Sugar Bowl semifinal. Instead, Ohio State beat the Crimson Tide and then Oregon to win the national championship.
That all being said, Bosa is absolutely right in that Buckeyes “haters” easily could have helped him and his teammates.
