Tennessee offers 20 players from IMG Academy

The Michigan Wolverines and head coach Jim Harbaugh have dealt with their fair share of criticism thanks to an upcoming spring trip to IMG Academy in Florida. Most of the opposition has come from SEC teams, because they aren’t fond of Harbaugh and company invading their recruiting grounds.

Well, in an effort to get ahead of any shenanigans, Butch Jones and the Tennessee Volunteers made a power play.

Recently, the Vols offered 20 players from IMG Academy.

The recruits who received offers are members of the classes of 201, 2018 and 2019.

Of course, sending out offers doesn’t guarantee a commitment, but it’s a start.

If Tennessee can land some of the IMG recruits, perhaps they will become more accepting of Jim Harbaugh’s strategy.
