Antonio Cromartie to meet with Buffalo Bills

A Rex Ryan, Antonio Cromartie reunion could be in the works.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the former New York Jets cornerback will be meeting with the Buffalo Bills this week about joining the team. Rapoport states that the addition of Cromartie has Ryan “intrigued.”

During four years under Ryan from 2010-2013, Cromartie had 160 tackles, 51 passes defended and 13 interceptions. For his career, the four-time Pro Bowler has 362 tackles, 114 passes defended and 31 interceptions.

The Bills defense was a massive disappointment under Ryan in 2015. If Cromartie can even be half the player he was with the Jets under Ryan, the Bills could have a solid number three corner behind Stephon Gilmore and Ronald Darby. That is, of course, is Cromartie and Buffalo actually come to terms on a contract.
