Report: Peyton Manning to retire by next weekend

We have all been waiting on news regarding Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning, who is fresh off of a victory at Super Bowl 50. Everyone is wondering what the next step of his career will be, with the wide majority of fans and media members hoping he will ride off into the sunset on a high note.

Well, if you are one of those people hoping for Peyton Manning to retire, it looks like there could be some good news.

According to Woody Paige of The Denver Post, Manning has made his decision and will announce by next weekend that he has decided to hang up his cleats.

However, to be fair,  Patrick Smyth, the Broncos’ Vice President of Public Relations, has denied Paige’s report.

So, while it looks like retirement could be the most likely destination for Peyton Manning, we will still have to wait for an official decision.

Regardless of what he chooses, it is only a matter of time until we see Manning’s bust enshrined in Canton.
