New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is one of the best players in the NFL and probably the best quarterback in the history of the league. It looks like Brady will be sticking around in Foxboro for just a little while longer.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Brady has reached an agreement for a two-year extension on his contract with the Patriots. This would lock him up through the 2019 season.

The craziest thing about this deal is that Brady is currently 38 and will be 39 in August. If he were to play out the rest of his contract, he would be 42 by the end of his current deal.
Brady entered the NFL in 2000 and took over the starting job from Drew Bledsoe in 2001. He has thrown for 65,000 yards in his career and has led the Patriots to six Super Bowl appearances, winning four in that stretch.
He has certainly earned his keep in the NFL and he is likely going to be retiring as a Patriot.
