Walk-on rarely get their chance to shine, the only time they get eyes on them is at the end of a blow out if they’re lucky (or unless they sit on Monmouth’s bench). And a walk-on holding a press conference? Forget about it.

Manning is the son of Wake Forest coach and Jayhawks legend Danny Manning, so press conferences are probably in his blood. The 6-foot-3 guard whose hometown in Lawrence, has appeared in 12 games this season.
The Jayhawks are set to honor their seniors in Saturday’s regular season finale against Iowa State. And reports on the younger Manning’s first presser out of Lawrence are very positive.
The kid’s a natural!
