We are only a few days into the month, but March Madness is in full swing.
As conference tournaments across the nation begin to kick off, we got an incredible and historic moment from the Big South thanks to the Presbyterian Blue Hose, who entered the tournament as the No. 10 seed with a losing record of 11-19.
While Presbyterian was an underdog to No. 7 Radford, the Blue Hose stayed close until the final seconds when DeSean Murray beat the buzzer with a put-back that gave Presbyterian the win, 65-64.
It was the first Big South tournament victory for the Blue Hose, who joined the conference in 2007.
