Noah Spence denies saying teammates at Ohio State also used drugs

Following the 2016 Reese’s Senior Bowl, Eastern Kentucky pass rusher Noah Spence saw his draft stock on the rise.

However, after a lackluster performance at the NFL Scouting Combine and reported struggles during team interviews, Spence is watching his stock trend in the wrong direction.

Spence was booted from Ohio State for repeatedly failing drug tests and, of course, he was asked about that repeatedly during the combine.

According to one report, Spence deflected the blame and said that multiple teammates were also using drugs.

NFL team asked Eastern Kentucky DE Noah Spence about drug use. Pushed him a bit. Spence: "I wasn't the only one doing it at OSU, trust me."

However, Spence quickly took to Twitter to refute the report.

@Eric_Edholm I never said that wow

Saying that I said anything about my other teammates at OSU is ridiculous never did and never will I take full responsibility for me..

If Spence truly did make those remarks, it is not a good look for him. However, if the reporter simply made up the report and Spence never made those remarks, it is a black eye on his resume.

Let’s hope that it all gets cleared up sooner rather than later so this does not negatively impact Spence’s draft stock if he is telling the truth.
