Laurinaitis visited with the New Orleans Saints last week to kick off his free agent visits. There is no word on what other teams the former Rams Rookie of the Year is planning on meeting with before signing his next cntract.
In seven seasons in the NFL, the 29-year old has 853 total tackles, 16.5 sacks and 10 interceptions. He’s also played in 112 consecutive games, haven’t not missed a single contest during his time in the league.
Given how Atlanta is coached by Dan Quinn, who coordinated the Seattle Seahawks defense that won a Super Bowl two years ago, Laurinaitis could wind up being a great fit for the Falcons. Stay tuned to Campus Sports for further updates!
