Kentucky head coach John Calipari could have an interesting looking team next season, and not just because of the Wildcats’ incoming recruiting class. Calipari’s son, Brad, took to Twitter to announce that he has decided to join the basketball team as a walk-on.
Blessed to be able to say I'll be apart of the #BBN next year!!🏀🐯

Brad currently attends The MacDuffie School in western Massachusetts and is a six-foot, 180 pound point guard. Compared to the usual high school prospects that Calipari attracts at Kentucky, that’s quite a departure.
But the reality of the matter is that after winning a championship and being in constant Final Four contention since arriving in Kentucky in 2009, Calipari has become a prime candidate for NBA jobs in spite of his constantly saying that he has no desire to leave Lexington.
Now that his son is set to join the team, however, perhaps he’ll have even more incentive to stay and continue building his legacy.
