There are griefers in The Division

The game hasn’t been out for 24 hours yet there are already reports of griefers blocking progress in Tom Clancy’s The Division.

According to a thread on Reddit, there have been players blocking doorways to safe houses that save progress. One Redditer described his experience, and provided full details on what was happening to him. The post has since been removed by moderators, but you can read it below.

“So I just started playing on the PC and there’s a guy here called [removed] blocking the doorway into the first safe house demanding people say a password for entrance.

I was stuck there for a good 10 minutes before I managed to sprint through him as well as a couple of others.

Should probably make us able to pass through players in safehouses.”

There has been no official update from Ubisoft on how to counteract this issue in The Division, but those on the Reddit thread claim that sprinting past them seems to be the only workaround for now. Should things change, we’ll provide an update on the matter.

It truly is terrible when some players’ sole purpose is to ruin the fun for others. You can see an example of the griefing being described above in the photo here.
