NFL Draft 2016: Alabama CB Bradley Sylve tore Achilles ahead of Pro Day

If you are a football fan, your heart has to go out to Alabama Crimson Tide cornerback Bradley Sylve.

Sylve, who was preparing to impress NFL scouts ahead of Alabama’s Pro Day this week, suffered a serious injury earlier in the week. Just one day before the Crimson Tide were set to host their Pro Day, Sylve went down with a torn Achilles.

Al.com was first to report the news.

At 6-foot, 180-pounds, Sylve has intriguing size and length for a player at his position. The senior also excelled on the field as a member of the special teams unit — winning one of Alabama’s Special Teams Player of the Year awards.

There is no word on the exact timeline for Sylve’s recovery, but hopefully he will have the opportunity to one day return to the field for a chance of achieving his NFL dreams.
