Former Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle has made a habit out of getting in trouble with the law, and his February 21 arrest may be the most ridiculous of them all.
According to TMZ Sports, Randle’s arrest for drug possession, aggravated battery and criminal damage to property was all because he lost his cool after losing at beer pong. Per the report, Randle was at a housewarming party in his hometown of Wichita, Kansas and got into an argument with the host over who won a beer pong game. Randle then shoved the host and was asked to leave before he refused and went upstairs and started attacking random guests.
Randle then left the party but then came back and hit a guest with his car at an estimated speed of “20 or 30 miles per hour” and then hit two more people who went to assist the first victim.
Currently, Randle is being held on $150,000 bond following a March 6 arrest for failure to appear in court, marking the sixth time in a year and a half that he has been arrested. At this point, his being transferred to a mental health facility is all but a certainty.
It’s a sad end to the once promising career of Joseph Randle, who is only 24. He is clearly a troubled individual, so here’s hoping that he gets the help he needs.
