The day that all college basketball fans look forward to is finally here as the field is primed to be set for the 2016 NCAA Tournament.
The conference tournaments finish up on Sunday, and then it’s time to find out what bubble teams made it, and which schools are on the outside looking in this year. If you can’t make it to a TV to watch, though, there’s no need to worry. Fans can watch the selection show online at NCAA.com.
For the first time, the show has been expanded to two hours, and will start a half-hour earlier than usual, going from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. At that time, all 32 of the automatic bids will be known, but the remaining 36 at-large bids still have many questions ahead of the bracket unveiling.
Teams like Syracuse, Connecticut, Michigan and Monmouth, among others, are sitting nervously to find out if they’ve made it. Other teams like St. Bonaventure and Pittsburgh have seemingly done enough to keep their spot safe in the tournament. Of course, we won’t know for sure until the show gets started on Sunday evening.
