It appears that the upcoming Call of Duty title from developer Infinity Ward has a name, and it’s leaving the Ghosts name in the past.
A new rumor making the rounds is that the latest installment of the popular first-person shooter franchise will be called Call of Duty: Bloodlines. No details are known about the game, but the source that leaked this information via Dual Pixels has a history of being correct with his information.
Also revealed is that the new Call of Duty game will launch alongside Nintendo’s yet-to-be-announced NX console.
Call of Duty is usually officially announced around spring time each year, and fans should expect nothing different this time around. A trailer during the NBA Playoffs, like years past, could also be part of the reveal plans.
