NCAA Tournament 2016: CBS knows who leaked the bracket?

The 2016 NCAA Tournament season kicked off with something of a scandal, as the tourney bracket was leaked in the middle of CBS’ Selection Sunday Show.

And now, according to New York City radio host Mike Francesa, CBS knows how the bracket was leaked and who did it, but can’t say anything yet.

Now, to be fair, Francesa is an intense individual who gets a bit passionate on the air, and this could very well be one of those times. However, he is also plugged into the football world and used to work for CBS, so there’s every possibility that he has spoken to sources with knowledge of the bracket leak situation.

Which means that at this point, all we can do is wait. There hasn’t been much noise about the bracket leaking since it actually happened, save for a school or two finding out that they didn’t make the big dance as a result of the leak, but CBS will release a statement on the matter when it feels it appropriate.
